Up to how many people is a Segway tour possible?

At short notice, within 24 hours, you can book a Segway tour for up to 10 people.

In addition, and only on request, there is the possibility of extending it to 17 people. For logistical reasons, it can then only be started from Earth!

Prerequisite for participation in a Segway tour

Minimum age 14 years and accompanied by a legal guardian

According to the Ordinance on the Participation of Small Electric Vehicles in Road Traffic (eKFV), from June 16, 2019, a minimum age of 14 years is required.

Helmet obligation

Helmets are compulsory on our tours (we provide them free of charge, but you are welcome to bring them with you)

No physical fitness is required, but there must be no physical disabilities or cardiovascular problems. Pregnant women are not advised to take part in the tour.

The provisions of the road traffic regulations apply

Inside and outside of built-up areas, Segway PTs are only permitted to use lanes, bike lanes, bike path fords, and bike paths. If these are not available, the road may also be used. Federal, state or district roads are not permitted.

How long does a Segway tour last?

We have several tours planned for you. The shortest tour lasts 60 minutes (pure travel time). Driving a combination of Segway and boat tour can last up to 4 hours.

You will receive a safety briefing before each event. It serves to get to know the device better and then to be able to fully enjoy the tour!

Do you really not fall over there?

As with any ride, there is nothing to worry about when used properly.

The on-board computer of a Segway PT automatically ensures a secure footing. It stabilizes you in any position and adjusts the speed to the surface and the incline/decline. A member of staff will always help you get on and off.

Up to what age can I drive?

It's not about age, it's about stability. Try it!!

Can I store LUGGAGE?

Each of our Segway PT is equipped with a handlebar bag. The dust and splash-proof handlebar bag has a hard shell and a volume of approx. 10 litres.

Each tour is accompanied by an experienced guide. Before the tour, you will receive a detailed briefing to get a feel for how to drive the Segway PT. Experience has shown that a safe driving feeling sets in after approx. 5-10 minutes.

Depending on the number of participants, the instruction lasts up to 30 minutes.

Can I take photos?

While driving, your hands are on the handlebars! We will stop at the most beautiful parts of the tour so that you can take souvenir photos. Additional stops can of course also be made on demand!

What do I have to bring?

• Comfortable, closed-toe shoes (no heels if possible!)

• Wind and weatherproof jacket

• sunglasses and sunscreen

• The following applies to the winter months: To keep the fun factor high even in colder weather,   please bring TOO MUCH rather than TOO LITTLE warm clothing. (Gloves, warm shoes, etc.)

What about RAIN?

In case of heavy rain we are forced to cancel the tours. In the event of a cancellation, we offer you the following options:

• Your tour will be postponed to a later date in consultation

• If you have already paid in advance, we will refund the money

What happens if I notice "This is not for me" during the briefing?

In this case you do not have to pay or we will refund you the tour price.

What if we notice that you are still not getting along?

If the guide realizes during the introduction that you are not able to use the device, use will be prohibited for your safety.

Of course, we will refund the full tour price to the person concerned. (Not the whole group)

What happens if you suspect intoxicants, addictive substances or narcotics?

If drugs, alcohol or other intoxicants or narcotics are suspected, use is prohibited immediately. If you are already on a tour, the device will be shut down and returned to the starting point at your expense.

Tour fees will not be refunded.

Does the alcohol limit apply to the Segway?

The blood alcohol limit of 0.5 applies to persons in possession of a valid driver's license. For all other people, as well as novice drivers (trial period or supervised driving), the alcohol limit is 0.0!
