Up to how many people can participate in a Segway tour?
You can book a Segway tour for up to 10 people at short notice, within 24 hours.
Furthermore, and only upon request, it is possible to expand the group to 17 people. For logistical reasons, however, takeoff can then only be from Earth!
Prerequisites for participation in a Segway tour
Minimum age 14 years and accompanied by a parent or guardian
According to the regulation on the participation of small electric vehicles in road traffic (eKFV), a minimum age of 14 years is required from 16.06.2019.
body weight
minimum 45 kg and maximum 118 kg
Helmet required
Helmets are mandatory on our tours (we provide them free of charge, but you are welcome to bring your own).
Road Traffic Regulations
No particular level of fitness is required, however, participants must not have any physical disabilities or cardiovascular problems. Pregnant women are advised against participating in the tour.
Care
Each tour is accompanied by an experienced guide. Before the tour, you will receive detailed instructions to get a feel for how to ride the Segway PT. Experience shows that you will feel confident riding it after about 5-10 minutes.
Depending on the number of participants, the instruction lasts up to 30 minutes.
Can I take photos?
Keep your hands on the handlebars while riding! We'll stop at the most scenic spots on the tour so you can take photos. Additional stops can, of course, be made upon request!
What should I bring?

For the winter months: To ensure the fun factor remains high even in colder weather, please bring more than enough warm clothing (gloves, warm shoes, etc.).
And what about when it rains?
In case of heavy rain, we are forced to cancel the tours. If a tour is cancelled, we offer you the following options:
Your tour will be rescheduled for a later date by arrangement.
If you have already paid in advance, we will refund your money.
What happens if I realize during the briefing, "This is not for me"?
In this case, you do not have to pay, or we will refund the tour price.
What if we find that you still can't manage?
If the guide determines during the introduction that you are unable to use the device, its use will be prohibited for your safety.
Of course, we will refund the full tour price to the person in question. (Not the entire group)
What happens if someone is suspected of using drugs, narcotics, or other addictive substances?
If you are suspected of being under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or other intoxicants or narcotics, use of the device will be prohibited immediately. If you are already on a tour, the device will be deactivated and returned to your starting point at your expense.
Refunds of tour fees are excluded.
Does the blood alcohol limit apply to Segways?
For persons holding a valid driver's license, the blood alcohol limit is 0.5 per mille. For all other persons, as well as novice drivers (probationary period or supervised driving), the limit is 0.0 per mille!
